Artist Statement

Jackie Betel is a Toronto based sculptor and painter.

The common theme throughout her work is primarily a focus on human emotions and expressions. Her range of work in the past has included stained glass, ceramic, sculpting, pottery and encaustic painting and photo transfer.

Currently her creative development is sculpting (primarily in Winterstone material) and painting.
